Free Printable Worksheets: April

Welcome to our April worksheets collection! April is not just the month with the Fool's Day in it - a lot more can be done! You're welcome to use these lesson materials in your classes in April - they have been specifically selected for this month. All our worksheets are contributed by teachers like you. Feel free to share your own April worksheets - we'll appreciate this!
The month of April is known for spring, rain, April Fool’s Day and Easter; these can all be found in the collection of worksheets in this section. There are 59 April worksheets to see here with many more in other sections too. Take a look at this April worksheet which combines vocabulary practice with fun activities like a word search and a matching exercise. Your elementary or pre-intermediate learners will enjoy the brightly colored images too. This is just an example of the many free, printable worksheets available to you on BusyTeacher. You are sure to find something suitable for any level, topic, and age group.
To keep students from pulling any pranks on you during the first day of the month, save the April Fool’s Day lesson for the first or after the first. If they do not see it coming, it will be harder to come up with prank plans. April is generally a nice time of year. If your school schedule is similar to that in the United States, students should be refreshed after the spring vacation and excited about the long summer break. With the weather warming up, it can be hard to keep students from daydreaming about the various things they could be doing outdoors so be sure to actively engage your students in every part of your lesson. If it can be arranged, consider taking your students outside for a class or two. Everyone can enjoy English in the sun.
At the moment we have 59 April worksheets, and our collection is growing every day as our members contribute their self-made lesson materials. Browse our collection below, we are sure you'll find something to your liking!
