This section of Busy Teacher is all about the United Kingdom. There are 258 UK-themed worksheets available with some common themes being the British Royal Family, the Beatles, and fun facts about the UK along with some more serious material as well. Given the amount of interest in the British Royal Family, here is an example of one such worksheet. This worksheet has a short family tree to help students understand the relationships between people and some interesting facts. The vocabulary used might be a little challenging so feel free to alter it in any way necessary to better suit your students. For lower level learners you can use the family tree to discuss family and relationship vocabulary; expand the tree to make it even more suitable for this type of activity. For upper level learners, create a comprehension exercise to accompany the worksheet or give each pair or group of students a fun fact to creatively present to the class. Obviously there is more to the UK than royalty and other worksheets in this section reflect that. Take your time finding the right worksheet for your class.
