FREE Space Worksheets

Welcome to the space section of this site. There are now 61 space worksheets to choose from with more being added regularly. This is one such worksheet that is best used with intermediate learners. It is a little text heavy but you can rework the article to match you students’ level better. There are several types of exercises including multiple choice and fill in the blank questions as well as a writing activity; the answer key is included. If you would like to focus on a different topic, browse this section for other options. Perhaps you have already talked about space with your students, in which case submit your worksheets and activities for other busy teachers to use.
While space is a topic usually reserved for science class, you may choose to include it in your course for a few reasons. If the topic appears in your textbook, you have decided to conduct a joint activity with the science teacher, or your students are especially enthusiastic about the topic, you should devote some class time to talking about space. Keep in mind that you will often have to introduce a lot of new vocabulary when talking about space because most scientific words are not taught in conversational English classes. Once students have learned the necessary vocabulary, continue on with your fun filled space lesson.
