Hopefully the hustle of the back to school season has settled down by now, or maybe not - if your school starts in October! Anyway, the students should be still full of energy and enthusiasm, they are not bored with studies just yet, and are eagerly taking in the challenges and hard work of the beginning of the school year.
To help you keep your students in that active and welcoming state of mind, here is our collection of 119 October worksheets. Do not hesitate to furiously browse through them in search for amazing and challenging ideas for exciting fall classes (as much as fall can be exciting, that is!), last-minute outdoor activities (weather permitting, of course!) and 'heavy load' lessons (use that productivity students are still well capable of during this time of the year!).
Our 'calendar' worksheets will help you come up with great lesson plans and theme sessions for holidays, events and celebrations - if you can find time for those after all the serious 'stuff' you have on your list already. But if you do find an opportunity to add some cheer to your classroom, the occasions can include World Vegetarian Day, World Animal Day, World Teacher Day (already looking forward to that, aren't you? :)), or Wear Something Gaudy Day. And, of course, do not forget to commemorate Dictionary Day and First Oscar Night with your students.
All the materials are at your disposal absolutely free of charge (you just need to be registered with Busyteacher.org which is also free!).
