November may feel like a dull month, since all the funs of summer are far behind, it is too early to start on the Christmas cheers just yet, and it's been too long without public holidays and wide-spread celebrations. This can mean that your students have had enough of hard work already, they are not that enthusiastic any more and may start acting cranky because they are bored with studies.
Luckily, our collection of
21 November worksheets is here to help you to add some cheer to your classroom and liven up those routine lessons with some amazing and challenging ideas.
Our 'calendar' worksheets will help you plan some fun into your classes in terms of holidays, events and celebrations - you will definitely want to use those if you would like to keep your students happy and make it through the rest of the year! No one said that you should have dull lessons if it's a dull month outside - quite the opposite! Be creative to incorporate the following occasions to your lesson plans: National Sandwich Day, Geography Awareness Week, World Kindness Day, I Love to Write Day or Homemade Bread Day. And, of course, do not forget to celebrate Thanksgiving and American Indian Heritage month with your students, giving them some background information on the history and origin of these holidays, or encouraging them to find that information themselves and present or discuss it in class.
All the materials are absolutely free for all registered Busyteacher.org users. Just do not let anything or anyone stop you from organizing interesting and fascinating lessons!
