In many countries, students of any age will have had some experience with TV and videos. You can give them the opportunity to talk about their favorite shows and movies and use one of the
51 worksheets on this page in a lesson on this topic. Here are two examples from the TV and video section. The
first one is about finding grammar mistakes but is structured as an interview with a director and concludes with a writing exercise where students think of the storyline for a new film. This would be great for pre-intermediate students. The
second worksheet is for intermediate and advanced students to help them practice agreeing and disagreeing. The topics are all related to television and a Bingo format is used to encourage students to use all the different target expressions. Those are just two of the available worksheets posted on this page but if they are not a good fit for your students, take a minute to browse through this page or other sections of the site to find one that they might enjoy more.
