Let’s look at a sample worksheet from this category. This worksheet uses the game dominos to help students practice forming compound adjectives. All the materials and directions are included. For the best results, make sure that students are confident using compound adjectives and indicate what acceptable combinations are so that students cannot simply play whatever dominos they have and form illogical combinations. For more advanced students, alter the rules so that whenever a compound adjective is formed, the student whose turn it is must make a full sentence using it. Remember that this is just one subsection of adjectives so if you need to broaden your search, look in the main adjectives section of the site.
