Summer months are flying fast, and summer is now officially over in most countries of the world (at least this is true for the northern hemisphere!). This can only mean one thing: the back to school season is here! It's time to get together in class again, share summer stories and tune your minds toward hard work in the new school year.
Luckily, our collection of 38 September worksheets is there to help you come up with amazing and challenging ideas for summer roundup classes, get-to-know-each-other sessions, mingling activities and 'welcome' lessons.
Our 'calendar' worksheets will help you plan the first month of fall in terms of holidays, events and celebrations - if you have any time left for them after all the back-to-school activities, that is! But if you find an opportunity to add some cheer to your classroom, the occasions can include Random Acts of Kindness Day, Talk Like a Pirate Day, Hobbit Day, or Ask a Stupid Question Day. And, of course, do not forget to commemorate Labor Day and Patriot Day with your students, giving them some background information on the history and origin of these holidays, or encouraging them to find that information themselves and present or discuss it in class.
All the materials are available at absolutely no fee to all registered Busyteacher.org users. Just do not let anything or anyone stop you from exploring them and downloading them in bulk volumes, to plan interesting and involving lessons!
