89 February Worksheets!
Welcome to the February section of the site where you can find 89 worksheets to use in your February classes. Two popular themes for this month are Valentine’s Day and winter which, if you live in the northern hemisphere, has already been around for way too long by this point in the year. This February worksheet has all the instructions for a simple Valentine’s Day craft activity that your younger learners will enjoy. Follow the directions to make cute pencil toppers. If crafts are not really appropriate for your students, there are also worksheets for board games, coloring pages, and other activities. These worksheets were made and successfully used by other busy teachers who wanted to share their ideas. Take a minute to browse through the available worksheets. When you find one, it is easy and free to download and print out for your students.
In February do not let Valentine’s Day monopolize your lesson time. It is interesting and fun for students to talk about holidays but after you have covered this topic, move on to something else or continue working on the structures you were studying before the holiday. If students start to suffer from the blues because of the winter weather, be sure to plan lessons that allow them to be active in class and perhaps even imagine how nice summer will be. You can compare the different seasons to one another or simply get excited about something like spring or summer vacation to take everyone’s mind off the cold. Spring is just around the corner. Happy teaching in February!
