This is an individual, to pair, to group exercise.
This exercise can be adapted to fit the teacher's or student's needs, depending on what needs to be practiced.
1- One student must write down on a piece of paper ten things he did on his holidays and keep it.
2- After, he must mime these things to his pair.
3- His pair must write down on a piece of paper using an anagram code what he thinks the first student did.
4- Now, the second student must write down the ten anagrams on the board.
5- Finally, we divide the class into two groups (leaving out the two initial students) and by turns, each group has to try to solve the anagram and say in loud voice what the initial student did during his holidays.
6- The first group to solve the ten anagrams is the winner. You can use it to introduce new material, revise material previously seen in class, reinforce some particular aspect or just use it as an ice-breaker or filler.
