Past Participle Memory Game
Print and cut the cards. First, I asked the students to match the infinitive and past participle of the verbs (small groups). Then, we used the cards to play Memory. Each student gets a turn to choose two cards. He/she turns them around. If they match, he/she keeps the pair. If not, the cards are put back and the turn passes to the next player. My students seemed to enjoy the game and what's even nicer - they started helping out the active player by suggesting which past participle/infinitive card he/she needs to find. I played the game for a few minutes, until each student had made at least one match. As a follow-up, the students did an exercise on past participles from their text book.
