Monster High: Write a Story in Past Simple
A private student of mine is fond of "Monster High" dolls and cartoons, and can talk about it for hours. After having noticed that more and more children started watching it, I thought that they might also like writing compositions about their favourite cartoon. This is a creative writing prompt for kids keen on "Monster High" cartoons. Kids are asked to write any story they want about one of the characters, Frankie Stein, using Past Simple. Before giving this worksheet, you can ask kids about the main characters, their personalities and relationships, and then discuss the last episode the have watched using past simple. To make it easier for them, ask them to write what happened with Frankie after the developments of the last episode. So, both the task and the worksheet are simple :)
