The worksheet can be used as a warmer at any lesson on technology or serve a grammar purpose for practicing: 1) passive voice (FM Radio was invented in 1933. Television had been invented before first FM Radio appeared.) 2) Past perfect (people had invented television before they invented FM Radio.) 3) Present perfect/present perfect continuous (How long have we had? How long have we been using/watching etc…? Cut one set of cards per each group of ss (4-5 people). The set of cards includes an inventions timeline + small stripes with gadgets. Ss discuss in groups when the gadgets were invented, then check by answering teacher’s questions (in any grammar form needed).
