This worksheet is to identify the difference between the long /ai/ sound and the short /i/ sounds that are otften confused by learners. It can be used to find patterns (e.g. the magic 'e' which transforms fin - fine). Also, the teacher could divide the board in two and a word then the student has to write the word on the correct side of the board.
