Classroom Management: Appointment Clock Buddies
This worksheet is called 'Classroom Management: Appointment Clock Buddies' and it was kindly provided by Laura Candler: we encourage you to visit http://www.lauracandler.com/ for more worksheet packages and teaching resources.
The worksheet consists of two pages - the first one presenting the Appointment Clock printable for each student, while the second page provides teacher directions on how to organize the activity aimed at creating ready-made sets of partners for cooperative learning lessons. The detailed instructions explain the step-by-step process, in the result of which each student will have 4 partners to choose from for an activity you are planning in class today. After they have picked the name for the current activity, you may then assign tasks by saying something like: “Today you will meet with your 9 o’clock appointment to complete your graphic organizer.”
Note: Each time you use the clock, remind students to put their clocks away in a safe place.
