This activity is suitable for adults or younger students. Prompt A instructs beginning learners to use "there is/there are" and positional prepositions. Prompt B instructs high-beginning and low-intermediate learners to use "there was/there were" and positional prepositions. Prompt C instructs high-intermediate and above to use "used to". There is a model for each prompt and there is a large picture to print out in color. Put it in a protective sleeve and let students pass it around and discuss before handing out the prompts.
