Heads Up: Real News About Drugs And Your Body. Student's Materials - Year 2

You may remember the first part of this series, Heads Up: Real News About Drugs And Your Body. Student's Materials - Year 1, that we published a while ago. Today we present the second part of this brochure. It was kindly provided by DrugAbuse.gov and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), and can be also downloaded from their website.

This is a 12-page full-color brochure with articles on the effect drugs have on young people. The series was created by NIDA and Scholastic, and their goal is to 'is to give you science-based facts about drugs, addiction, and the brain so that you can make smart, informed choices about your own life.'

We suggest you use these authentic texts in your English classroom every time you have a lesson to teach Intermediate/Upper Intermediate students about teenagers'life, anything about modern teenage culture.

Happy teaching!
