This is a handout based on the teaching of pragmatics. Studying pragmatics offers a learner a real insight into how language is connected with culture. This particular handout, which is based on pragmatics theory, also complies with the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) theory as it gives learners the opportunity to focus on the language process in a real-contextual way. The following handout is designed for B1 (CEF level) students; intermediate level students. The purpose of the handout is to help the learners practice various meaningful, authentic situations in a fun way, thus providing them with adequate pragmatic knowledge to communicate in the L2 context.
