Who amongst us does not carry fond memories of a visit to the circus when we were young? A circus is a fascinating visual experience which gets etched deep into our memory. I have used the theme of circus to revise an entire set of vocabulary. It contains names of people and equipment used in the circus. It also has action words to describe what children see being done. A few suggested activities: 1. Revise the words with and without the visuals. 2. Write out the words on cards and ask children to arrange alphabetically or group by a particular activity in a circus. My children enjoyed it. I am sure others will also do so.
