Pride & Prejudice
The worksheet is designed for the newer version of Pride and Prejudice which is 2 hours long. There are listening questions and a fill in the blank section for each half of the film, to be divided into roughly 1 hour sections. I usually take an extra half-hour in class to talk about Jane Austen and her other books, or to discuss some common themes in the movie. I sometimes assign at home essays comparing the book to the movie, or ask students to write about a theme in the story they found interesting. Use subtitles for intermediate students and take them off for advanced classes. Don't forget to turn off subtitles for the FIB sections!!
