Not just for listening to the song, one of my favourite songs, but also for speaking time, we can start by showing some photographs of people, one person in each photograph, and we can use that question on a poster, 'I wonder what lonely people do' and start talking about it, about what we do when being alone, about what people who live alone do, and then we can listen to the song, and do the gap-filling activity. We can also use other photographs that may show places or things to do and we may comment upon whether doing them when being alone. Loneliness is a topic to talk about, too.
