Dialogue at a Shop
This worksheet is intended to provide students with controlled practice of functional language connected with shopping. It should be distributed after the teacher has introduced students to a handful of basic functional structures that can be used when doing the shopping. Students complete the gaps with expressions from the box. They can do it individually or in pairs. When they have finished, the teacher can ask them to check their answers in pairs. Afterwards, the teacher provides students with the feedback. Later on, students can assume the roles of the client and the shop assistant and use the worksheet to act out the dialogue.
