This handout may be used to present a set of common euphemisms. The table presents some common expressions and SS can work individually or in pairs to come up with the meaning. However, the handout in itself is a great handout to ignite discussion about euphemisms as a whole class,too. I have used it with B2 level students. Feel free to add more euphemisms or adapt this worksheet to your classroom needs.
