This is a ws to brainstorm destinations, packing lists, ways to travel, things to see and to do. It can then be followed by a speaking activity based on it. And after that you could have your students write a paragraph about their plans for summer holidays. The destinations can be either real or imaginary (e. g. fairylands from favourite books or other planets). If you chose real places for the activities, you will find the videos with famous landmarks from YouTube really handy -- you could use them as a warm up, having your students guess the names of the places and the countries where they are located. Get creative and engage your students in speaking about the topic they all enjoy so much -- summer holidays!
