How you can use these irregular verbs flashcards: - Cut out and laminate each card. - Put your students in groups of 3-4. - Show each group of students 2 or 3 cards from the set. Ask "What is the Past Simple of…?" and then "What is the Past Participle of….?" - Students then look at the card to find the correct answer (do encourage your students to say a simple sentence or two with the irregular verb. ) - The activity ends when all cards have been used by the teacher and the learners are confident saying all the irregular verbs. - Give a small prize to the best group - a sticker or something similar.
