In this lesson, students review vocabulary and grammar at A2 level related to the topic of restaurants and menus. Classroom desks are arranged into six "learning islands" where the students, divided into six groups, can practice one skill (grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, and speaking). All the activities are related to the main lesson topic and students work in complete autonomy, doing the exercises and checking their results with the answer keys. The teacher monitors and assists when needed. At the end of each task, the students fill out a self-assessment sheet and the groups then change to the next desk/skill.
