This worksheet is for beginners and/or grade 1 or 2 primary students, it uses real pictures of common animals to help students identify the correct noun with the right animal, and forces them to guess the correct spelling. This worksheet should be used after introducing the target language, and /or used for checking their understanding. If students are not very good at spelling let them guess orally the animals, then combine the worksheet with a spelling game such as the Hang Man, and finally let them write down the answers on the worksheet.
