Students are given a card with the name of a country and a hobby. These cards are on the second page of the worksheet and can be laminated or just printed and cut on cardboard. They ask and answer three questions to five partners or more: What's your name? Where are you from? What do you like doing in your free time? They write the names, countries and hobbies in a chart. Then the teacher asks some students to read their findings: "His name is Mark. He's from Japan. He likes travelling." Then they tell their partner what they really like or don't like doing in their spare time. Finally, the teacher asks a few students to tell the class about themselves and there's a dictation with some of the vocabulary of hobbies (At weekends, I love ...). The text of the dictation is in the third and last page.
