Movie Worksheet: Wacky Inventions (the Flintstones)
This worksheet can be used either like vocabulary expansion + comparing life in the past with present after watching a cartoon or to practice conditionals. Here’s what I did: 1) Ss read the list of words and match the ones they know with the pictures; 2) we discuss together the meaning of the unknown words and continue matching; 3a) ss  imagine what life would be like if we didn’t have those things to practice second conditional (e.g. If we didn’t have a hair brush, we would brush our hair with hands.) 3b) It’s also possible to use only past simple to think what Flintstones used instead of those things. 4) Watch a video; 5) Ss compare their answers with the facts from the video.
