The first task is to match up the idioms on the left with the definitions on the right. This can either be done by just giving the students the worksheet or by enlarging it and cutting it up for a more kinesthetic task! Task 2 requires the students to gap fill with the newly acquired idioms and finally there is a brief follow up with a freer speaking activity using the idioms. Answers are included
