This card game is designed to teach the basic structure of simple English sentences. It is great to use with elementary students to demonstrate how they can make many different interrogative, negative and affirmative sentences using the Present Simple.
How to play: Cut and laminate the cards. Divide your class into groups, or pairs. Divide the cards among the groups. Ask them to make as many sentences as they can. Decide how much time will be allotted to complete one round of play. Set a timer or note the time on the clock. The group with more sentences wins.
