This is a warm-up activity appropriate for your first lesson with secondary students, especially if you meet the class for the first time.
But it works with students you already know. It can be used as an energizer. You can choose a winner too - for example the person who says all the names and adjectives without interruption or mistake.

Students make a circle. Teacher starts first, saying his name and an adjective starting with the same letter or sound as his name. Next student repeats the name and the adjective of the teacher and says his name and a new adjective starting with the same letter or sound as the student’s name. Example: “Polly, proud”; Then student repeats “Polly, proud” and adds Mihail – marvelous” and so on until the last person who has to repeat all the names and adjectives of his classmates.
