In this quick exercise, learners will complete the gaps of a phone conversation to book a doctor's appointment with the phrases "I would like to book", "I can't make it", "That works for me", "Can I have", "Would you like me to" and "Do you mind". Then, they are asked to explore further examples to use these phrases. You might also use the conversation script to propose a role-play. Other language present: time, days of the week, numbers, spelling, thanking and responding.
