Personality SWOT Analysis
Any wordlist of personality adjectives can be used for doing this activity. For me it’s the way to make ss not only memorize the words, but also apply them for themselves, think and speak. Ss write down 5 personality adjectives that they consider to be their strong features in the square “strengths”. Then they do the same with “weaknesses”. In the square “opportunities” they try to answer the questions: What can you achieve in life if you develop your strengths? What opportunities can your strengths give to you? In the square “threats”: they answer the following questions: What threats can your weaknesses cause? How can they prevent you from reaching your dreams/aims? Then Ss in pairs share their reflections. It might be a good idea to make them share only the things they are not embarrassed to talk about.
