This is a worksheet for elementary level young learners based on the film Brave. It can be combined with a wordsearch or word cloud (www.wordle.com). The film is set in historical Scotland, around the 12th century, and it tells the story of a young Scottish princess who breaks with tradition and refuses to submit to an arranged, dynastic marriage. Children can predict content and follow the story so long as there are pauses in relevant places and they enjoy the film's wonderful animation. I used this worksheet with a wordsearch that contained the vocabulary necessary for completion of the worksheet but a word cloud made using wordle would also suffice.
