This is quite a good reading text with conversation questions. It is a general text with no particular emphasis on grammar. I have used it as a homework sheet for my upper adult conversation classes. It is quite personal,but this works well here. I have found that most students in the German-speaking world enjoy talking about themselves (nothing derogatory intended!) For countries in which personal discussions should be avoided, it can be used in a general way with different exercises and questions.
