Many EFL students find idioms hard to be understood, that's why they avoid using idioms while they speak English. They always find some problems in using the idioms in sentences properly. The best way to help the students is by encouraging them to practice more. These simple exercises can help pre-intermediate students improve their fluency in using the idioms properly.
