This is an article which appeared in the Gulf News (Dubai) about His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al Maktoum who has written a book of 27 of the most beautiful poems - mainly about love and rejection. Sheikh Mohammad writes in the Nabati style that has existed in the Arabian Peninsula since the Middle Ages. Nabati poetry is also called “people’s poetry”, for it is easy for the masses to understand, since it is written in a dialect similar to their own. It has questions at the end and is suitable for seniors (Grade 12 students)
