This worksheet is for practicing "ee" and short "i" sound minimal pairs. I made it for a Spanish-speaking ESL student who has difficulty distinguishing between vowel sounds -- particularly "ee" and "i" -- due to first-language interference. The top section has pictures of minimal pair words with missing vowels, and the bottom provides space for students to sort and write down their own ideas of additional "ee" and short "i" words.
