Speculation about Future Game
This game will help learners feel the difference between future forms in terms of speculation. It is easy and fun, as the aim is to guess what kind of picture is “hidden” on a board. Moreover, the game could be easily modified (e.g. you can use other vocabulary, set different percentage). Procedure: 1. Students relate future forms to their presumable percentage 2. Teacher makes up sentences with both a word combination and future form (e.g. Your kid will probably misbehave at kindergarten; Tom won’t have an affair with his colleague ) 3. According to the sentence students mark its place on the board. 4. Eventually, students get a picture of a heart (can be something else).
