This worksheet was created in order to work with descriptions of animals. It requires prior knowledge related to animals and parts of their bodies. First, I designed three activities in order to practice reading comprehension: 1) read and complete the text with given words; 2) circle the correct word and 3) complete the chart with information (colour, group, habitat, abilities, food, body) of two animals from the text.After that, students have to work with specific vocabulary. They have to look at three pictures of animals from La Pampa, Argentina and they have to label their body parts. Finally, students read a chart that contains information about two animals from La Pampa: the vizcacha and the rhea. They have to use given verbs in order to write a paragraph describing the two animals mentioned before.
