The chart has examples of suffixes and root words and provides some of the basic rules for adding suffixes (ie - "change y to i, then + suffix"). The worksheet asks the students to write the meaning of a root word, then the meaning of the word with the suffix, and then use it in a sentence. There is space for the teacher or student to add their own words.
